12/8/2023 0 Comments Cricut vinyl storage*There's no star too far, and no dream too grand. It turned out so cute and I think she is going to love it. I am sure you could use a hot glue gun as well but I wanted to be more precise on where the glue was going so I used a Q-tip.Īfter it set I set it up and let the glitter fall to the bottom. This glue takes a day to set so I left it sit before touching. I used E6000 to glue the back onto the shadow box. I attached the pink square to the original backing with some double sided tape. Use the scraper tool again to press the vinyl onto the glass. I used Transfer Tape to place the image into the shadow box. It is hard to see in the picture because it is white vinyl on a white backing. My Cricut cut the design out of Permanent Vinyl. Because I am putting the design on the inside of the shadow box I needed to mirror my image so that it would be read from the opposite side. I sized it to the size I measured previously. Next, I measured the inside of the shadow box to know how big my design should be. I honestly thought that I was going to have such trouble with this but it was very easy. I then took finger nail polish remover to remove the letters. It was pretty easy to get it to come off. It was nailed in with these tiny little nails. I started by taking the back off the shadow box. I found this mini shadow box at the Dollar Tree and thought that I could use it to make something cute. I’m currently looking at 12x12 paper storage making my own shelves inside the ikea kallex shelf similar to what you have here (I got the plans from ’ve seen flat 12x12 vinyl sheets at Michaels, but I’ve not seen 12x24. I wanted to make something special for her for her birthday. My niece is having a fairy themed birthday party.

12/8/2023 0 Comments Best sudoku app for iphoneTwelve months later and I'm still playing this fabulous game and still loving it! I've been promoted to an iPhone 7Plus so have quite a bit more real estate to play on and I'm absolutely LOVING that. I understand the necessity for advertising, but could we perhaps have it interspersed between games instead of impinging on the playing surface? Consequently, sometimes my stylus accidentally touches an advert and I'm taken off on a journey to new, but sadly not very exciting, websites that I didn't want to go to in the first place. I only have an iPod (hint, hint, Santa) and the tiny little screen doesn't allow a lot of room for error. Or is that just me? Yep, probably is.Īnyhoo, the only criticism I have is that the adverts at the bottom of the screen tend to get in the way a bit sometimes. I love that you have to pass each level before being allowed to progress to the next, but that you can still go back and play an easier level if (or should that read 'when'?) your brain has a mini meltdown and needs a little R&R. It's a great little time waster, so thanks for that. I had never played Sudoku prior to downloading this app, but now I'm hooked. "Great app - love it! Well done! These will eventually build up and contribute to wear and tear when you don't clean your solar panels regularly. There are lots of soft grains of sand, dust particles, and debris in the environment. So, it is recommended that you don't rely on rain water to clean your panels automatically, because it just doesn't happen. Similar to how you need to clean your car's windshield more often during the rainy season, your solar panels need to be cleaned more often as well. Most solar panel owners don't clean their panels after it rains because they think they don't need to because the rain water will do it for them. That's why regular cleaning is recommended if you want to be on the safe side in case there is a malfunction at some point. You may not be covered by the warranty if there is no proof of regular cleaning. Many solar panel installation companies as well as manufacturers have specified regular cleaning as a warranty condition. We have clients who've noticed that they no longer have an electricity bill when they keep their panels clean, but they owe money when their panels are dirty! If you're selling power back to the grid, this means you may owe nothing on your monthly bill, and get a larger year end credit from PG&E. However, clean panels generate more energy, which means more money you can use to pay off your investment in solar panels, resulting in a higher Return on Investment. There are many factors that go into this calculation, and each solar system in unique. Return On Investment (ROI) means how fast your panels pay themselves off. Regular cleaning can make a huge difference in how much power your panels generate! So it's the best way to ensure that your panels are prepped for maximum efficiency. According to many statistical observations, this efficiency and performance improvement can be dramatic, up to 21% in residential arrays and up to 60% in commercial installations. There is no doubt that cleaning your panels will increase their overall efficiency. For this reason, periodical cleaning is extremely important if you want maximum results.įollowing are 7 reasons why you should clean your solar panels regularly: 1. If you don't do this often enough, the performance of your system will be decreased because of the repelling layer of grime on them. Clean solar panels generate more electricity, which means more money in your pocket! They also look better when they're shiny and clean. With the features Google Messages offers, Samsung even prefers Google Messages. In the bottom section, tap the “Quick response” button and choose one of the options. The app has editable quick responses to send with one tap. You can separate your work and personal life by creating categories and adding contacts to those categories. The Samsung Messages app has the option to add categories. On some devices, Google Messages shows a “remind 1 hr” option in the message notification to set a 1-hour reminder. Samsung Messages does not offer a built-in web messaging service, but with the help of Samsung SideSync, you can send messages from the PC. Most features of the app are automatically synced.įor example, if you have dark mode enabled in the app, the website will be in dark mode. You must connect the app to the computer to use this feature. Like WhatsApp Web, it allows you to send and receive messages on your computer. The buttons are visible if you have Google Meet installed, and the receiver can receive calls if they have it installed.Ī fantastic tool of the app is Messages for Web. The app shows a video call option that uses Google Meet to call the person. Samsung Messages doesn’t have an archive folder, nor it offers a swiping feature. Swiping on a conversation moves it to the archive folder, but you can customize it to delete the chat. The app uses AI to detect the last received message and suggests a few quick one-tap messages based on it.įor example, if you receive “Where are you?” it will suggest options like “At home” and “I’m at home,” etc. However, Google Messages has a separate option to enable or disable this mode, whereas Samsung Messages relies on your device’s display mode. With Google Messages, you will notice that the screen is dark gray, even on Samsung devices. Samsung Messages: Dark themeīoth offer a dark theme, but Samsung has an edge because of its One UI. It’s an SMS by default, but the label converts to MMS if you add a file or image. While typing, Google Messages displays whether you are sending an SMS or MMS. Samsung Messages shows without spaces or formatting. Regarding messages from unknown numbers, the app simplifies the number by adding spaces. Samsung Messages has two tabs and an option to add Categories. Google Messages shows a single line of the latest text under each conversation, whereas Samsung displays extended length. Both apps look the same except for a few differences. 12/8/2023 0 Comments A list of chemical elementsIn turn, cuprum is descended from Kyprios, the Ancient Greek name for the island of Cyprus, which was well known in antiquity for its production of copper. The chemical symbol for copper is Cu, which derives from the metal’s Latin name, cuprum. Long before the poisonous qualities of minerals like these could be explained by science, copper miners in central Europe had no better explanation than to presume these toxic effects were supernatural, and were caused by devious underground goblins called kobolds who lived inside the rock-and it's from the German word kobold that cobalt gets its name. COBALT (27)Ĭobalt is often naturally found alongside or in minerals combined with arsenic, and when smelted, cobalt ore can emit noxious arsenic-laden fumes. Vanadium’s next door neighbor, chromium (24), also produces a variety of colored compounds and so takes its name from the Greek word for “color,” chroma. Because he was so impressed with how beautiful and varied these solutions were, the Swedish chemist Nils Sefström chose to name vanadium after Vanadís, an alternate name for the Norse goddess of beauty, Freya. One of the transition metals, pure vanadium is a harsh steel-grey color, but four of its oxidation states produce a rainbow of solutions, colored purple, green, blue, and yellow. A century before it became the name of element 15 in the late 1600s, Phosphorus was an alternative name for the planet Venus, whose appearance in the sky was once believed to strengthen the light and heat of the Sun. Phosphorus literally means “light-bearer” or “light-bringing,” as the first compound of the element glowed in the dark. Neon takes its name from neos, the Greek word for “new” (it was “newly” discovered in 1898). The name carbon comes from the Latin word carbo, meaning “coal” or “charcoal.” A small carbo, incidentally, was a carbunculus, which is the origin of carbuncle. LITHIUM (3)ĭespite being the least dense metal, lithium takes its name from the Greek word for “stone,” lithos, because it was discovered in a rock (as opposed to the other alkali metals potassium and sodium, which were discovered in plants and animals). The stories behind 20 other chemical element names are explained here. Whether these two petitions will come to fruition remains to be seen-the final names are not likely to be announced until later in the spring-but as IUPAC rules demand all new elements be named after either a mythological concept or character, a mineral, a place, a property of the element itself, or a scientist, it seems unlikely we’ll be seeing lemmium on the walls of chemistry classes any time soon. Online, there’s growing support to name one of these new “heavy metal” elements lemmium in honor of Motörhead frontman Lemmy (who died two days before they were announced), and another octarine after the fictional “color of magic” in the late Sir Terry Pratchett’s Discworld novels (Pratchett died in March 2015). For the time being, they have the fairly clunky Latin and Greek numerical names ununtium (Uut), ununpentium (Uup), ununseptium (Uus), and ununoctium (Uuo), but, by IUPAC rules, their discovers now get the chance to officially name them. On December 30, 2015, the International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry announced the discovery of four new chemical elements-numbers 113, 115, 117, and 118-the first new elements added to the periodic table since 2011. 12/8/2023 0 Comments Gerd endoscopy findingsErosive esophagitis is the commonest complication encountered. GERD is not uncommon in our study and younger age groups are particularly more affected. Los Angeles grade B was the highest prevalence 41.2%. One hundred and seventy seven (78.3%) were endoscopy positive, while 49 (21.7%) were endoscopy negative GERD. The peak age occurred within the fourth decade of life (32.7%). I mean everything was fine, I wasn't even prescribed with medication because there is no need. In my country we are doing it fully awake without any sedation, and even I could watch camera inside me. Mean age 38.5, SD± 13.1, and range of 15-75 years. Endoscopy findings are perfect, but still feel acid in throat. One hundred and seven (47.3%) were males, with M: F ratio of 1:1.1. One thousand, five hundred and ninety seven patients were referred for gastroscopy within the study period of which 226 were GERD (14.2%) using the self-administered questionnaire. Endoscopic findings of oesophagitis, strictures, Barrett’s oesophagus or oesophageal adenocarcinoma were classified as endoscopy positive while those with symptoms but with normal endoscopic finding were classified as endoscopy negative or Non-erosive reflux Disease. Sociodemographic characteristics and clinical diagnosis of GERD were evaluated alongside endoscopic findings. Hospital-based cross sectional study conducted between 1 stJanuary, 2013 to 31 st December, 2016. GERD is classified based on the appearance of the esophageal mucosa on upper endoscopy into erosive esophagitis (EE) and nonerosive reflux disease (NERD). This study aimed to determine the endoscopic correlation of clinical presentations and frequency of complications among patients with clinical diagnosis of GERD referred for gastroscopy. Upper gastrointestinal endoscopy is a reliable method used in confirming clinical suspicion of GERD. Ethnic variability, gender and geographical locations are some of the factors that determine severity index and complications of GERD. Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) is a leading indication for gastroscopy and a common cause of serious complications among patients with dyspeptic symptoms. |
